Dr Mark White
Principal Investigator, Senior NHMRC Research Fellow
After an inspiring internship at GlaxoSmithKline during his undergraduate studies at the University of Bath, Mark completed his doctoral training at the Manchester Institute of Biotechnology, under the supervision of Professor's David Leys and Nigel Scrutton.
Mark subsequently moved to the University of Oxford's Chemistry Research Laboratory to work with Professor Emily Flashman, before becoming a STAR postdoctoral fellow at the pharmaceutical company Novo Nordisk.
Mark relocated to Australia in June 2019 after being awarded a prestigous ARC DECRA Fellowship. He has since received an NHMRC Investigator Grant and University of Sydney Robinson Fellowship to expand his research program.
